HOW SPOT ADOPTION WORKS

Check out our available pets. You can find photos and information for all available SPOT cats and dogs on Petfinder. If you don't see a pet you love today, check back soon. There are always new pets coming to SPOT.

Submit an Adoption form.

Keep an eye on your email! A SPOT volunteer will review your application and let you know if you and your prospective pet are a good fit. If it's a match, we'll set up a meet and greet.

If all goes well, it's time to bring home your new pet! We do request an adoption fee, which covers spaying/neutering your pet, vaccinations, parasite control (fleas, ear mites, worms, etc), an ID tag, a microchip and registration, feline testing (where applicable), and a free vet check up at participating veterinary clinics.
Note: SPOT’s policy includes a two week post-adoption in-home trial. If the pet is returned during that period, the adoption costs will be partially refunded.
