Pet Surrender Information
Please complete the release form (below) that applies to the type of animal you wish to surrender to SPOT. Please be as complete as possible using our online form.
SPOT will be in touch with you as soon as our volunteer foster network can determine if there is space available. If you do not hear back from a SPOT volunteer within 48 hours, please follow up with a phone call or email.
A surrender donation is appreciated whenever possible! This donation helps to feed and shelter the animal during the time period that the animal is in foster care. This donation will be requested if/when you place the animal in SPOT's care.
Please note that there is usually a 2-4 week waiting list for all surrenders. We will try to help as many as possible, please be patient!
Cat Surrender Donation to help with care of cat surrendered: $65.00
Dog Surrender Donation to help with dog surrendered: $70 for altered, $100 for unaltered
You may also wish to check to see if another local rescue group can take the pet you wish to surrender. You can find a list of rescue agencies for Washington State.
